Here is a guide to keeping your jewels happy ( and drama free)! Your jewels are more than just accessories – they’re a way of life. But like your favourite cactus , they need a little TLC to stay looking fabulous. Follow these simple rules to keep your BAS pieces shining bright.

1. WATER? NOT EVEN A DROP.  Jewels + water = bad news. Your rings, bangles and necklaces aren’t fans of getting wet, so skip the showers, pools or rainstorms whilst wearing them. Water can dull the shine, damage the stones, and even cause metal to rust. Think of your jewels as the divas of your wardrobe – they’re fabulous, but they don’t like to get soggy!
2. NO YANKING, PLEASE. When taking off your bangle or rings always remove them by the base – not by pulling on the stones. Yanking on your jewels is like pulling on a loose thread – eventually, its going to unravel. Handle with care, and your jewels will stay in one beautiful piece.
3. TAKE BANGLES OFF BEFORE YOUR COAT – Winter coats and bangles do not mic. Before you take your coat, remove your bangles. Otherwise, you might end up with a bent bangle, lost tag – or worse an untimely jewellery casualty. Trust us, your jewels will thank you for the extra minute.
4. NO LOTIONS OR POTIONS – Your jewellery might love the sparkle, but your hand cream, perfume, and sunscreen? Not so much. Lotions and potions can cloud your stones, tarnish the metal and make your favourite pieces look less fabulous. Put on your creams, sprays and lotions first, and let your jewels shine last. They’re the real stars, after all.
5. STORE THEM LIKE THE TREASURES THEY ARE – Your jewellery deserves better than being tossed into a drawer with a bunch of loose receipts and hair ties. Store your pieces in their original boxes or a jewellery box with separate compartments. This way, they stay  safe, untangled, and looking like they just came out of the shop.
