Lets face it, everyone wants to achieve that natural summer glow. The look of someone who is fresh from a day at the beach,  sunkissed by the sun and ready for a piña colada.  As we sit here by the pool,  on our summer holidays, we ask Sarah Nice, our expert and go to beauty guru for tips on how to maintain that summer glow all the way through to the blustery, cold winter.

BAS: So, how can you achieve it even when you are not able to hop on a plane to an exotic holiday destination?

S: Fake don’t bake people!! A decent gradual fake tan is a must for an everyday glow that looks natural.

BAS: Do you have any make up cheats to get that glow? Any products in particular that you use?

S: I use Bondi Sands in my spray tan kit for professional spray tans, and Isle of Paradise tan water for an at home glow. Moisturising and exfoliating is key to achieving this though- And yeah I find it boring too.

BAS: Dewy skin is unbeatable – but whats your cheat list to achieve this look?

S: Drinking LOADS of water and prepping your skin with rose oil under make-up to the high points of your face so that a dewy finish is created. Just avoid the t-zone otherwise you’ll look more chip-fat than dewy..

BAS: Any natural remedies, tricks you use at home to help your skin appear healthier?

S: Half and avocado mashed together with a whole kiwi. Slap onto a clean and dry face for 20 mins and voila, your skin will LOVE you for it. I also use tea tree oil for breakouts- An oldy but it’s a goody.

BAS: What products did you use to achieve the dewy natural look we used on you for the Enigma collection look book?

S: I used Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua for a really natural but smooth base with Glossier’s Haloscope– is a must for dewy skin.

BAS: Are there any up and coming makeup trends we should get practising for 2019/2020?

S: Experimenting with bright almost neon colours on the eyes and lips (although not together) teamed with really flawless looking but pared back skin looks contemporary but elegant.

So there you go. We are off to drink 2 litres of water, grab a pot of guacamole and pick up that yellow highlighter……..
